2024 NCF Live Auction
Held during the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) Annual Meeting, the National Conservation Foundation (NCF) Auction is a great opportunity to support conservation!
The auction will be held live in-person on Monday, February 12, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.
The deadline for items to be submitted through this form and featured on the NACD website is close of business on January 31, 2024.
Please note: All items are to be shipped or brought to the Live Auction site in San Diego and submitted by 10:00 a.m., February 12, 2024. As the Live Auction date approaches, NACD will reach out with shipping information and the date window for sending items to San Diego. Please do NOT ship items to the NACD office.
During the 2024 NACD Annual Meeting in San Diego, California the NCF will host their Live Auction on February 12 in support of the NCF-Envirothon program and the Next Generation Leadership Institute (NGLI). The mission of the NCF is to educate and prepare conservation leaders for the sustainability and regeneration of our natural resources. The NCF cultivates, educates, and inspires conservation leaders of all ages. The foundation does this by providing conservation districts and other conservation organizations funding for research, educational programs, and public outreach. In fulfilling its mission, NCF has two programs that work to develop the next generation of conservation leaders: the NCF-Envirothon, a high school environmental and natural resources program and competition, and NGLI, a program to cultivate the next generation of locally-led conservation leaders.
Individuals, conservation districts and state associations are encouraged to donate unique items for the Live Auction. Items can feature local artists, a special product made only in your state or territory, or interesting items with a conservation theme. Successful items in past auctions include pottery, jewelry and “made in” agriculture products.
Since the NCF is a live only auction format, after completing the Auction Donation Form donors will be provided with the shipping information for the meeting hotel and a date window to ship items as the Live Auction date approaches. Smaller items can be brought along by NACD Annual Meeting attendees but will still need an Auction Donation Form entry. If you would like to donate an item to the 2024 NCF Live Auction, please fill out the donation form!
For each donated item, please provide the following information:
- Who is donating the item (individual or organization)? Include a contact name, phone number, and email as well as a street address for the individual or organization.
- What is the item (How would you like for it to be listed in the Auction? Any additional information for the marketing ad copy is helpful.)
- What is the estimated value of the item?
- A digital photo (preferably Hi-Res) that is a good representation of the item.
