As a generational farmer in Iowa, Tim Palmer was raised around cattle and crops and knew that was his calling in life. “I started driving tractors and was around livestock at a very young age. I just always knew that's what I wanted to do. I enjoyed being in a tractor and feeling that sense of accomplishment when you're doing something, and you see that it's done right.”

What started as a Case IH donation to the NCF annual auction in 2010 has since turned into a passion for Patti Lardie. Her conservation journey is unique, and the results of her dedication have reached the next generation of conservation leaders in many ways.

Brent Van Dyke’s conservation career began as a teacher in New Mexico, where he taught an environmental ag class for 31 years. Teaching the next generation of agriculturalists has always been important to Van Dyke and was one of the factors that led him to join the National Conservation Foundation (NCF) after he retired from teaching.
